Fall Classes 2025

We are excited to offer several 10-week phonics classes for Pre-K and 5/6 Program students this fall. We will utilize phonics instruction, emphasizing visual, auditory and kinesthetic (tactile) learning styles as a way to lay a solid foundation for early readers.  Our time together will be spent playing games and other activities centered on letter recognition and letter sounds, rhyming words, and an introduction to basic cvc (consonant, vowel, consonant) word families. (bat, cat, sat, etc.)

Registration will go live on our website at 8:00 AM on Friday, May 9th. Please note, if you are interested in a particular class time, we recommend registering as soon as possible to ensure there is space in the requested class. Thank you!

*MONDAYS* at Second Ponce Community Wellness Center
September 8th-November 17th (No Class on October 13th for Fall Break)
1:15-2:15 pm | Pre-K and 5/6 Program | $450

*TUESDAYS* at Northside United Methodist Church (Open to NMP students only)
September 9th-November 18th (No Class on October 14th for Fall Break)
12:25-1:25 pm | Pre-K | $450 (RR Teachers will pick students up from class before NMP carpool.)
1:30-2:30 pm | Pre-K and Lions (5/6) Program | $450 (Pre-K students will need to sign up for Stay and Play prior to this class.  Sign up for Stay and Play is on the NMP website.  RR teachers will pick students up from the Lions class or a prior Stay and Play offering and take them to the RR class.)

**For students at Christ the King Preschool at Second Ponce, RR teachers will pick the children up in carpool and walk them to the Reading Rangers class at the CWC. We are unable to walk students to an extra-curricular activity following their Reading Rangers class.

**There must be a minimum of 8 students for a class to take place.

Fall Class Refund Policy
Prior to July 1, 2025, a full refund (minus processing fees) will be returned to you.
After July 1, 2025, a full refund (minus processing fees) will ONLY be issued if your spot can be filled by another student.
